The following Terms of Service apply to all purchases made from this website. Please read the details prior to placing an order on our site as all accepted orders are governed by these terms. A confirmation of your order and a link to our Terms of service will be E-Mailed to you prior to the delivery of your goods. A copy of your invoice will be E-Mailed thereafter.
How to Place an Order
We offer you two ways in which to place your order. you can either call our 24 hour sales team on 01442 502 460 and one of our fully trained staff will be happy to take your order. Alternatively, you can place your order directly on our website. Just click on the product of your choice and add to basket. Then enjoy our one stop checkout page to complete your purchase.
Sale of Goods
By Placing an order with My Choice (Referred to as us/we/our) you (the customer) are accepting these Terms of service. These Terms of service do not affect your statutory rights.
Please keep your invoice in a safe place as this will also be your standard proof of guarantee. Should your goods develop a fault within 30 days of purchase, please contact our Customer Care Team who will arrange collection and exchange of the product. (All goods should be returned in its original packaging and with all accessories, items received back that are not faulty will be returned to you). Should a fault occur outside of 30 days but within the guarantee period we will provide a free of charge repair and return carriage as soon as possible. (Please note it is the responsibility of the customer to return the product at their cost). Obviously we are unable to cover products in respect of misuse or excessive wear and tear.
Either party will have the right to terminate the contract at any time up to 7 working days starting the day after delivery. In the event you terminate the contract (this must be done in a durable form) it is your responsibility to return the goods to us as received to the listed address (DSV Solutions (mychoice), Maidstone Road, Kingston Industrial Park, Milton Keynes, MK10 0AJ). The only occasion we will collect the goods free of charge is if we supply a substitute product rather than that from the original order. As the customer you have a statutory duty of care for the product to take reasonable care of the goods whilst in your possession. If you fail to do so and it results in damage, deterioration or if parts are missing we will charge you for the reduction in the value of the goods. This does not affect your legal rights if for example the goods were not as specified or faulty.
Goods are refunded within 30 days.Termination of the contract will be without prejudice to the rights and duties of either you or us accrued prior to termination.
All our prices on our website are shown in Pounds sterling and fully inclusive of vat and delivery (surcharges do apply to certain areas within the UK). The price for the goods will be stated on the website at the time you place your order. We reserve the right to amend the price to take into account suppliers increase in cost or the implementation of any new taxes or duties or if due to an error or omission for goods on our website is incorrect. We endeavour to ensure our pricing is correct, however all orders are validated prior to release, and if there is a problem we will inform you of the correct price and give you the opportunity to purchase the goods at the correct price, alternatively we will issue a full refund. Our price is subject to change until you pay for the goods.
We will accept payment of your order by Visa / Mastercard / Debit card / Bank transfer or cheque, via our secure payment provider. We are unable to offer a cash on delivery service.
Delivery on all orders to the UK mainland is free, although a surcharge may apply to some areas (see below for details):

Delivery is normally within 5 - 7 working days (excluding weekends & Bank Holidays).Delivery is to the downstairs room of your choice, please check the product for damage prior to signing. All product shown on our website are in-stock (with supplier) whilst we make every reasonable attempt to secure and deliver your goods in a timely manner we cannot be held responsible for sudden stock shortages or manufacturing delays. Please note we cannot be held liable for any losses, costs, damages, charges or expense caused by the delay in delivering the goods. We will contact you to advise on the earliest delivery date. Acceptance of your order takes place once the goods leave our warehouse. In the event that you cancel the goods, nobody is home to receive the goods a re-booking fee will apply.
Any goods damaged in transit must be reported to our Customer Care team within three-days of delivery. If the goods are delivered damage please keep all packaging and contact us immediately with photographic evidence (if possible). This does not affect your statutory rights. In the case of the product being faulty we require the manufacturers engineer to inspect the product prior to exchange.
Do not install any damaged product as this counts as acceptance of the goods, and we will be unable to take back for exchange / refund.

We will supply goods that are free from defects in materials and workmanship for the minimum period of 12 months from the date of delivery or longer if offered by supplier, although in some cases products may have to be registered to validate this extra warranty. This is your responsibility and we will not be held liable if you fail to meet the above criteria. Any guarantee specifically excludes faults caused by accident, neglect, and misuse. In addition routine maintenance, consumables (plug, fuses, cables, batteries, etc) cosmetic damage and the tuning of channels is not covered, the full cost of a service call will be chargeable to you if no mechanical or electrical fault is found with your product.
We do offer a three or five year warranty in conjunction with Safegaurd insurance (see website for details)
The Company reserve the right to dispose of any goods where no written instruction has been received within a ninety-day period to offset any charges we may have incurred.
Failure by The Company to enforce any of these Terms and Conditions will not affect our right to enforce the rest of these Terms and Conditions.
The Laws of England and Wales shall govern the contract between us and any dispute will be resolved exclusively in the courts of England and Wales.
All products sold are of a technical nature and we are sometimes unable to give full specifications of all products. All sizes quoted are that of the product excluding any protruding knobs, handles, buttons etc.
We will not accept responsibility / liability for representations made by a third party for products features or suitability for particular use. (E.g. Manufacturers, magazine articles, Internet etc). Our staff are trained to explain features and benefits and are able to provide information if so requested, in relation to a products features and benefits.

Our refund & exchange policy is as follows (subject to conditions):
The customer does not require the item(s) purchased. This includes all mail order & internet transactions that fall outside of the 'The Distance Selling Regulations'. under the Distance Selling Regulations’ you have a seven day cooling off period.
We will within a period of 28 days exchange or refund in full any product that is found to have a confirmed fault or defect. This is subject to the goods not being misused or damaged in anyway. All products must be returned with all components (Instruction booklet, remote control, packaging, leads etc) and in the original packaging. Refunds & Exchanges will not be carried out until the product has been returned in its original packaging with ALL accessories & instructions. Thereafter, all confirmed faults would be repaired within the period and terms of the manufacturers' warranty.
This does not affect your statutory rights.
All refunds issued will be by the same tender type, however if this is not possible a cheque refund will be raised via our Head Office.

Electrical goods range from hairdryers and toasters to TVs and washing machines and every year, we in the UK throw away enough unwanted electrical products to fill Wembley stadium six times!
To help reduce this enormous amount of waste, the government has introduced the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) regulations.
As part of these regulations retailers who sell electrical products are required to take back into the store, on a like for like basis, for instance you buy a TV they will take back an old TV not a cooker. Customer must return unwanted products within 28 days of purchase. It is the customers', not the retailers responsibility to return the unwanted product to the store.
Some retailers will collect unwanted electrical products on a like for like basis from customer homes. There may well be a charge for this service. Alternatively you can take the unwanted product to your local council run waste tip or ask the council to collect it from you. Once again there may be a charge for collecting the waste.
However, some retailers have made a financial contribution to help fund recycling facilities at local amenity waste sites. These retailers are not obliged to accept your old electrical equipment back in store.

Old Batteries -From February 2010 consumers will be able to dispose of unwanted used batteries at a number of places.
